Ask Patcy: What if I bought foundation that is lighter than my skin?

Hi!

I know that a lot of pinays are in this scenario.
"I bought a foundation but it is too light!???? what should I do?"

The answer to this question is easy! Just use it as:
1. Face highlighter- Take your foundation and put it on your t zone, cheek bones and chin to highlight those areas. Blend everything until it looks airbrushed. A good brand of face highlighter that I can recommend is Maybelline instant age rewind concealer. It is blendable and buildable! coverage is great too!

2. Eye brightener- This category must have been on the first one but I want to give importance to this. Brightening the eye area up is different from concealing the dark circles! I will teach you a technique that I learned from my experience for these past years.

step 1: conceal the under eye area with a corrector. Salmon color is the best. If you can't find one, try yellow undertone concealer. It will work just fine. Put a thin amount of your concealer on the area with the blue line. Next is to put another layer of a concealer that is in your own shade. (or in the shade of the foundation you are using.) Make sure that you will not put a lighter color of concealer in that area because it will just accentuate the dark circle.

Step 2: Now add the lighter shade from your inner eye corner down to the orbital bone upto your brow bone. You will notice instant lift with this technique!

The truth is, you still can use it as your foundation because you can tone it down with a bronzer.yahhH!!!! Thank you for reading! please share this if I helped you :) comment below to inspire the next ask Patcy
